Man arrested after UK's largest haul of sperm whale teeth seized – oxfordmail.co.uk

A man has been arrested on suspicion of importing and selling whale teeth.
TVP Rural Crime Task Force said £18,350 of sperm whale teeth were seized from an address in Grove.
Officers were assisted by the UK National Wildlife Crime Unit (NWCU).
This is believed to be the largest seizure of sperm whale teeth in the UK.
It is illegal to sell whale teeth without a permit.
A 49-year-old man remains in custody.
